Where We Started

Our client is a market leader in alcoholic drinks gifting, with a large retail presence. Licenced to develop gift sets for the most well-known and best-selling alcohol brands, they required the right partner to support them in realising their potential on the Amazon channel.

Before working with Push-Pull, our client’s main obstacle was having limited knowledge and experience on Amazon, which lead to sales, marketing, and operational challenges. Gifting products are extremely seasonal, so navigating this on the world’s most rapidly evolving marketplace was a core challenge to overcome.

The Strategy

To develop our Amazon growth plan, we gathered insights from market size and share, competing brands, price points and the latest consumer trends. This analysis, combined with our Amazon experience, allowed us to identify several opportunities for the existing range as well as new products.

We brought each existing product listing to life, with search optimisation and high converting copy, specialist in-house photography and graphic design, as well as best in class A+ content. We deployed the same techniques from scratch across several new products too.

To deliver on our plan, we ensured product visibility and sales were maximised; bolstering the selection with our unique dynamic SEO and Amazon Advertising strategies. A core component to this, was regularly adapting product listings and campaigns to target seasonal keywords and customer search behaviour around key gifting events throughout the year.

How It’s Going

Push-Pull have supported our client in growing Amazon revenue 900% in year one and another 264% in year two. Entering our 4th year in partnership, Amazon is now a key strategic account within their portfolio.

We continue to support our partner with their now expansive range of over 70+ SKUs. They now dominate their Amazon categories with the best-selling gift set products in Gin, Vodka, Rum and Whisky.
