Our Story: Built on Amazon Passion Since 2007.
Our journey started in 2007/2008, when Amazon was just another name among eBay giants in the UK market.While others dismissed the platform, our founder saw extraordinary potential in its rapidly growing ecosystem.
The Early Years: Learning Amazon from the Inside.
Working closely with Amazon’s vendor managers in Slough, we learned the intricate mechanics of the marketplace – from the Buy Box to the flywheel effect. We recognised an opportunity to help brands thrive in this emerging space that most retailers were ignoring.
As Amazon evolved, so did we. The early years were a whirlwind of opportunity for those willing to embrace the platform. We navigated the shift when Amazon opened FBA to Chinese sellers in 2012, introducing new waves of competition. By 2015, our founder had moved on to apply Amazon expertise across multiple categories, facing new challenges and refining strategies with each evolution.
The Agency is Born: 2019.
The seeds for Push Pull Agency were sown through a discovery: applying the focused strategies of successful FBA sellers to branded environments could transform how established brands approached Amazon. The actual inception came in 2019, sparked by a conversation with Ben Bridgen, one of our co-founders. We recognised a massive opportunity in helping brands struggling to capitalise on Amazon’s potential. Together with Alex James, who brought expertise in advertising and SEO, we laid the foundation for a dedicated Amazon agency. We started small, running the Amazon agency as a side hustle. But early client successes confirmed we were onto something significant.
The Breakthrough: Full Commitment.
Our big break came when a well-respected retail agency took notice of our work. They offered us a partnership that brought a significant client and provided the resources we needed to fully commit to our vision. By the end of 2020, we took the leap. Leaving previous roles to pursue Push Pull Agency full-time.
Today: Organic Growth Through Client Success.
Since then, our client base has grown predominantly through word-of-mouth referrals. A testament to the quality of our work and the strength of our partnerships. We don’t just deliver results; we become indispensable extensions of our clients’ businesses.
